This photo was taken last week on Ridge Rd close to Ransomville Rd. The tree line in the background is at the top of the Niagara Escarpment with the vineyards just below on the slope. The horse ranch itself is just off the road, and on the day I took this photo, looked very tranquil.
Caught this rainbow over Freedom Run Winery a few weeks ago. So far this season has been wet and cool. This week has allowed us to dry out a bit and more seasonal weather is in the forecast for the coming weeks.

I caught this view while treating myself to an ice cream in Olcott Beach. The city you see on the horizon is Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The city of Toronto is 90 minutes away by car but it is easily recognizable on a clear day from the top of the Niagara Escarpment or from the shore of Lake Ontario. Thanks to the depth and size of the lake, it acts to delay the start of the growing season, protecting fruit from early frosts in the spring and extending the growing season into autumn by releasing the heat it absorbs during the summer.

Krull park is a quaint lakeside park in the town of Olcott, NY. A few steps away from the shops at Olcott beach, this area is romantic, tranquil, and it is always a good place to have a spontaneous picnic. The park is a few minutes away from Schulze Vineyards and Winery and The Winery at Marjim Manor on route 18.
